A 4-year degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related is required. Experience with .NET software development, Visual Studio, source control, SQL (Microsoft or otherwise), HTML, CSS, and AJAX are strongly recommended. An ability to work independently, a penchant for customer service, and a passion for custom technology solutions are a must. A focus in either Web 2.0 software or enterprise-class server-side software is also a plus. Job seekers should be articulate and capable of effectively communicating with customers on a regular basis.
Entry-level applicants can expect to develop custom software solutions for customers, research platforms and tools appropriate for individual projects, and consult with customers to assess needs and opportunities.
Senior applications can expect the same responsibilities, plus developing and maintaining project schedules, leading project teams for larger solutions, maintaining long-term customer relationships, and providing strategic planning for long-term projects and resellable software solutions.
